Founded in 1966 at Duke University, the Duke Lemur Center is home to over 200 lemurs from 14 species. It is the largest and most diverse population outside Madagascar and a global leader in lemur care, research, and conservation.

Craft a brand that balanced simplicity and sophistication, making it both approachable and visually compelling. The solution centered on a personalized tone of voice, a color palette that seamlessly incorporates Duke’s identity, and a visual system built around lemurs.

Idea

The visual system, seamlessly integrating the versatile wordmark and iconmark, brings the brand to life across impactful OOH campaigns, dynamic internal collateral, engaging media channels, a captivating website, and immersive activations that deeply connect audiences to its mission.

Partnering with Starbucks Campus Collection for the exclusive Ring-tailed cake pop.

Partnership

Inspired by Starbucks’ animal cake pops, the Ring-tailed Lemur Cake Pop is part of Durham’s Campus Collection. Available for a limited time, proceeds support conservation and research at the Duke Lemur Center.
